The Passage is my first short film. It is extremely surrealist but in fact, it is real. It was inspired by my 20’s when I experienced the quarter-life crisis which seems to be very common around the world. According to The Guardian, the quarter-life crisis affects 86% of millennial. I asked a friend of mine to draw the storyboard when I was living in São Paulo and only produced it years later in Vancouver.
We shot it in 3 days and it was an intense and incredible experience! I finished the film and got so excited when The Passage was invited to be screened in some festivals which include the Madrid International Film Festival and am very happy that we won an award at the Canada International Film Festival.
